A temporary art gallery in the woods.

This is a call to ALL artists - working in every and all mediums of “art” - to participate in the creation of a temporary art gallery in the woods March 18^th, 19^th, & 20^th 2005. This is a very unique show with the goal of taking Art Outside the gallery box, and placing it where there are no walls, save for the blank canvas of the landscape. Imagine, if you will, walking through an Enchanted Forest, with paintings hanging above, sculptures growing out of the ground; films screening in the trees, and the unexplainable in between.

This show will be held within the land that we call the Enchanted Forest- 2.5 acres of beautifully wooded land in South Austin. We are looking for all forms of artistic imagination to fill the space, and help create a temporary art gallery in the woods.

Entry Deadline:

February 15th 2005.

Read the F.A.Q. regarding the show, and decide if this is something you would like to be part of.
Submit your work to Art@artoutside.org with:

a) Description of your art work, including the size
b) Images if you have any
c) Any special requirements

Entry Fee:

$10 per artist- Fee applies ONLY to those who are selected to be part of the show. There is no fee to submit your work.

Location:

The Enchanted Forest, is located at South Lamar and Oltorf- 78702.

Park in the Office Depot parking lot. Walk across the Oltorf, and enter through­ the big metal sculpture gate.
